TradeBricks Refund & Chargeback Policy

Effective June 15, 2026

All TradeBricks Pro fees are final and non-refundable except where TradeBricks grants a refund in its sole discretion or where the law requires one; you agree to contact us before disputing a charge and not to initiate a chargeback, which we treat as a breach with defined remedies.

1. 1. About This Policy

This Refund & Chargeback Policy (this "Policy") explains how fees, refunds, cancellations, and payment disputes work for TradeBricks (operated by an individual sole proprietor under the name TradeBricks, "TradeBricks," "we," "us," or "our") and the TradeBricks web application and related services (the "Service"). It applies to you ("you" or "User") whenever you purchase or maintain a paid subscription to TradeBricks Pro ("TradeBricks Pro").

This Policy is part of, and is incorporated by reference into, the TradeBricks Terms of Use. It should be read together with the Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy, and the Risk Disclosure & Disclaimer. Capitalized terms used but not defined here have the meanings given to them in the Terms of Use. If there is a direct conflict between this Policy and the Terms of Use on the subjects of refunds, cancellations, taxes, or payment disputes, this Policy controls.

TradeBricks is research and education software. Nothing in this Policy or the Service is investment, financial, legal, tax, or trading advice, and TradeBricks is not a broker-dealer or registered investment adviser. Please review the Risk Disclosure & Disclaimer before subscribing.

2. 2. Subscription Fees, Currency, and Billing

TradeBricks offers a no-cost Free tier and a paid TradeBricks Pro subscription. TradeBricks Pro is offered at $20.00 per month (monthly plan) or $144.00 per year (annual plan). All fees are stated and charged in U.S. Dollars (USD). The price shown to you at the time of purchase governs your subscription.

All payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"), through Stripe-hosted checkout and billing pages. TradeBricks never receives, processes, or stores your full payment-card number, security code, or bank-account details. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's applicable terms. You are responsible for keeping your payment information accurate and current, and for any foreign-transaction, currency-conversion, or other fees your card issuer or bank may charge.

We may from time to time offer promotional pricing or discount codes. Any such offer applies only as stated, may be time-limited, and the standard then-current price applies on renewal unless we expressly state otherwise.

3. 3. Automatic Renewal

YOUR TRADEBRICKS PRO SUBSCRIPTION AUTOMATICALLY RENEWS. When you subscribe, you authorize TradeBricks and Stripe to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis — every month for the monthly plan, or every 12 months for the annual plan — at the then-current price, together with any applicable taxes, automatically at the start of each billing period, until you cancel in accordance with Section 5. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide.

You may cancel at any time before your next renewal date to stop future charges, as described in Section 5. The renewal charge will continue to recur until you cancel.

4. 4. No Refunds (All Sales Final)

EXCEPT WHERE REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW OR EXPRESSLY GRANTED BY TRADEBRICKS IN ITS SOLE AND ABSOLUTE DISCRETION, ALL FEES AND CHARGES FOR THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ALL TRADEBRICKS PRO SUBSCRIPTION FEES, ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE. Fees are non-refundable whether or not you used the Service during the applicable billing period.

Without limiting the foregoing, we do not provide refunds or credits for:

  • partial subscription periods, unused time, or features you did not use;
  • downgrading from TradeBricks Pro to the Free tier, or switching plans;
  • dissatisfaction with backtest results, verdicts, metrics, or any outputs of the Service (which are hypothetical and not predictive, as explained in the Risk Disclosure & Disclaimer);
  • any trading, investment, or financial losses you may experience, for which you are solely responsible; or
  • account suspension or termination resulting from your breach of the Terms of Use or this Policy.

This Section does not override any rights you have that cannot be waived under applicable law; see Section 9 (Your Statutory Consumer Rights).

5. 5. Cancellation

You may cancel your TradeBricks Pro subscription at any time through your account settings (Account Settings → Manage Billing, which opens our Stripe-hosted billing portal) or by emailing info@tradebricks.io. If you subscribed online, you may cancel online without additional steps.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period

Cancellation stops future renewals. Your cancellation takes effect at the end of your then-current paid billing period, and you will retain TradeBricks Pro access until that date. Fees already paid for the current period are NOT refunded and are NOT prorated, except as required by law or granted by TradeBricks in its sole discretion under Section 6.

Failed payments, suspension, and downgrade

If a recurring charge cannot be completed — for example, due to an expired card or insufficient funds — we and Stripe may attempt to charge your payment method again. If payment remains unsuccessful, we may suspend or terminate your access to TradeBricks Pro, or downgrade your account to the Free tier, without limiting any amounts you owe us.

6. 6. Discretionary Refunds

TradeBricks may, in its sole and absolute discretion, issue a refund, credit, or other accommodation in an individual case. Any such accommodation is a one-time courtesy; it does not modify this Policy or the Terms of Use, does not waive our no-refund policy, and does not entitle you or any other User to a refund in any other instance.

To request a discretionary refund, email info@tradebricks.io from the email address associated with your account, describe your request, and include enough detail for us to locate your subscription. Submitting a request does not guarantee a refund, and approval is entirely at our discretion. If we approve a refund, we will process it to your original payment method through Stripe; the time for the refund to appear depends on Stripe and your card issuer or bank.

7. 7. Contact Us Before Disputing a Charge

We want to resolve billing concerns quickly and directly. Before initiating any payment dispute or chargeback with your bank, card issuer, or payment provider, you agree to first contact us at info@tradebricks.io and to give us a reasonable opportunity — at least ten (10) business days — to investigate and address your concern.

Most billing questions can be resolved this way, and contacting us first is the fastest path to a resolution, including any discretionary refund we may decide to grant under Section 6.

8. 8. No Chargebacks

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. You agree not to initiate, request, encourage, or pursue a chargeback, payment reversal, or payment dispute with your bank, card issuer, or payment provider in connection with any charge you authorized or that is otherwise valid under the Terms of Use and this Policy. Instead, you agree to use the contact-first process in Section 7.

Your bank rights

We are transparent about what this Section does and does not do. We cannot and do not eliminate any right you have under applicable law or card-network rules to dispute a genuine billing error, an unauthorized transaction, or a charge for a service we failed to provide — including rights under the U.S. Fair Credit Billing Act for credit cards and analogous protections for debit transactions. Nothing in this Policy purports to waive those non-waivable rights. This Section is a contractual commitment by you not to misuse the dispute process for charges you actually authorized and that are valid.

A prohibited chargeback is a material breach

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute in violation of this Section — that is, for a charge you authorized and that is valid under the Terms of Use and this Policy, without first using the contact-first process in Section 7 — is a material breach of your agreement with us. In that event, and without limiting our other rights and remedies, TradeBricks may:

  • immediately suspend or terminate your account and your access to the Service, including TradeBricks Pro, without refund;
  • submit these Terms, this Policy, your usage and consent records, and other evidence to your bank, card issuer, payment provider, or Stripe to contest and seek reversal of the dispute;
  • treat the disputed amount, if owed, as an outstanding debt and recover it, together with any chargeback, representment, bank, and payment-processor fees and reasonable costs of collection, including attorneys' fees, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law; and
  • decline to provide the Service to you in the future.

Our right to recover amounts and costs under this Section is in addition to, and reinforced by, the indemnification provisions of the Terms of Use. Any limitation, exclusion, or recovery of costs and fees under this Section applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law and is not an absolute entitlement.

9. 9. Your Statutory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes any right you have that cannot be waived under applicable consumer-protection law, and to the extent any provision of this Policy conflicts with such a non-waivable right, that right prevails and the remainder of this Policy remains in effect.

U.S. residents

Depending on your state of residence, automatic-renewal and consumer-protection laws (such as California's Automatic Renewal Law) may give you specific rights regarding renewal disclosures, cancellation, and renewal or price-change notices. We honor those rights where they apply to you, including by providing an online cancellation path through the Stripe-hosted billing portal and any renewal or material-change notices required by law.

EU/EEA and UK consumers

If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract. Because TradeBricks Pro is digital content and services that we begin providing immediately, when you subscribe and request immediate access you (a) expressly consent to our beginning to provide the Service during the withdrawal period, and (b) acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once provision of the Service has begun. If you withdraw before provision begins, you are entitled to a full refund; if you requested immediate provision and then withdraw within the period, you may be charged for the portion of the Service provided up to your withdrawal. We will confirm your subscription on a durable medium (for example, by email).

10. 10. Taxes

All fees are exclusive of taxes. You are responsible for all applicable sales, use, value-added (VAT), goods-and-services (GST), and other taxes, duties, or governmental assessments associated with your subscription, excluding taxes based on TradeBricks' net income. Where required, applicable taxes will be added to your total and collected through Stripe at checkout and on each renewal.

11. 11. Price and Plan Changes

We may change subscription prices, plans, or included features. For existing subscribers, any price increase will take effect on your next billing period only after we give you reasonable advance notice — at least thirty (30) days — by email to the address associated with your account or by in-app notice.

If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel before it takes effect, as described in Section 5. By not canceling and allowing your subscription to renew at the new price, you accept the change. A price change does not entitle you to a refund of fees already paid for a current period.

12. 12. Free Tier and Free Trials

The Free tier is provided at no charge, includes a limited set of features, and carries no payment obligation; accordingly, no refunds apply to the Free tier.

TradeBricks does not currently offer a free trial of TradeBricks Pro. If we offer a free trial or introductory period in the future, we will disclose its terms at the point of enrollment, including that the trial converts to a paid, auto-renewing subscription at the disclosed price unless you cancel before the trial ends, when the first charge occurs, and how to cancel to avoid that charge. Any post-promotional standard price will be disclosed before it applies.

13. 13. Changes to This Policy and Contact

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide notice by email or in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service or renewal of TradeBricks Pro after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and may cancel your subscription.

Questions about this Policy, billing, cancellation, or refund requests may be sent to info@tradebricks.io. TradeBricks is operated by an individual sole proprietor under the name TradeBricks. This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except that mandatory consumer-protection laws of your home jurisdiction may apply regardless of this choice of law.
